Jett Lawrence set the pace yet again during the first qualifying session at A1 ahead of Star Yamaha’s Cooper Webb and Chase Sexton third with Eli Tomac down in tenth.
Jorge Prado again went fastest in group B and his time was eleventh fastest – not bad at all for the MXGP World Champion.
In the 250cc class it was Jordon Smith who went fastest in group A ahead of RJ Hampshire and Jo Shimoda. However, Julien Beaumer from group B was the fastest qualifier on his KTM – impressive!
