Lewis Phillips caught up with Jorge Prado who was back to showing great speed and was contending for a top five after a heat race win in Denver until a collision with Cooper Webb, not for the first time, left Webb down and Prado over a berm! And the Spaniard didn’t hold back on his thoughts on Webb’s pass attempts.
Prado said: “He does it to himself, he already missed a main event a few rounds ago crashing into me on lap one or two, then he did it again today. It is his championship to lose, not mine. Could he be more clean? Yes, but this is Supercross so I don’t mind, i just need to get better so he doesn’t stick on my wheel.
“If I’m hard to pass then he needs to be even faster, my goal is to improve and not be in that position when riders are passing me and I am moving forward.”
