Official: Star Yamaha and Max Anstie part ways


Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing and Max Anstie have officially parted ways by mutual agreement, bringing the British rider’s two-year spell with the powerhouse American team to an end.

The decision allows Anstie to fully commit to the FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX), where he is expected to line up for the 2026 series. During his time with Star Racing Yamaha, Anstie enjoyed plenty of success and fulfilled a long-held ambition of racing for one of the strongest teams in the paddock.

The team has thanked Anstie for his commitment and professionalism throughout his time with the team, while the Brit also reflected fondly on his spell with Star Racing before looking ahead to what comes next.

The team revealed the news via the following press release:
