After missing the opening rounds of the EMX250 championship due to visa complications, Ryan Alexanderson is finally set to make his return to European racing.

The Australian talent was forced to remain in his home country after overstaying a previous visa, which prevented him from re-entering Europe in time for the start of the EMX250 campaign. During his time back home, Alexanderson lined up for a handful of races in Australia with the Empire Kawasaki team.

However, the good news is that the visa situation has now been resolved. Alexanderson recently made the trip back to Germany and will rejoin the WZ KTM outfit for the rest of the season.

He’s set to make his return to racing this weekend at the opening round of the ADAC MX Masters series before heading to Portugal the following weekend to line up for his first EMX250 race of the year.

He’ll join teammates Maxime Grau and Quentin Prugnières under the WZ KTM awning for the rest of the season with his team mates focus on the MX2 World Championship. Alexanderson also becomes the third Australian rider contesting the 2025 EMX250 championship, lining up alongside fellow countrymen Jake Cannon and Liam Owens.

The team revealed the news on social media:

NO TIME TO REST. This weekend first ADAC MX MASTERS stage in Drehna. GOOD NEWS that our crew will join again Ryan Alexanderson. Wish our guys luck and let’s meet in the track!
