Lyonel Reichl spent the first part of the season with the Motorrad Bauerschmidt Husqvarna team. However, he recently announced he has parted ways with the team.
It didn’t take Reichl long to secure another ride as the Sarholz Racing team have decided to snap him up for the rest of the season. He made his debut with the team at the ADAC Youngsters Cup series at the weekend.
His first EMX250 race will be with the team in Ernee, France this weekend.
The team posted the following press release confirming the signing:
We are excited to officially announce that Lyonel Reichl will now be competing for the KTM Sarholz Racing Team. In addition to racing in the EMX250 Championship, Lyonel will also take part in the ADAC MX Youngster Cup.
Lyonel will continue riding his Husqvarna. Sporting the number 363, he currently holds 3rd place in the ADAC Youngster Cup standings—just eleven points behind the leader. In the European Championship, he is also performing strongly, sitting in the top ten in 8th place.
This weekend, Lyonel is back in action at the next EMX round in France.
A big thank you to all our partners for their continued support.
Lyonel Reichl: I am very excited to get this opportunity with Sarholz Racing. I will give it my all and see what the season brings.
