Exciting young British talent, Josh Vail has confirmed his plans for the 2025 season which will see him make the move up to the MX2 British Championship class.
Vail had a great year racing the 125cc battling all season long with Jamie Keith and came out on top in the British 125cc Championship but he now has a new challenge for the 2025 season making the move up to the 250cc full time.
The Phoenix Tools Fantic Racing team have signed up Vail for the 2025 season in what will be his rookie year in the pro class but he’ll hope to learn as the season develops.
The Phoenix Tools Fantic Racing team will also have Carlton Husband and Charlie Cole under the awning as they’ll be racing the MX1 class.
“I was really pleased when I was approached by Barry and the team earlier in the year. After lots of testing and making the final decisions on which class to race, I’m really looking forward to my rookie year in the pro class, working with a great team and being under the awning”, Vail told GateDrop.com regarding the move.
“I’d like to give a massive thanks to SJP moto, RFX, Bob and everyone who supported me on the 125. You’ve all been amazing. I’m excited and ready to give it my all, start the winter prep with Ashley Wilde and Phoenix Tools Fantic and see what 2025 brings”, added Vail.Â
The team posted the news on social media:
“We are super excited to announce Phoenix Tools Fantic Racing have agreed to take Josh Vail on to the team as our MX2 rider for 2025. Welcome to the team Josh and his family”.
