Official: Håkon Østerhagen signs with AIT Racing for 2025

As we reported a few days ago, Håkon Østerhagen has finally confirmed his plans for the 2025 season signing with the AIT Racing team which will see him racing a Fantic once again.

The move will see him working closely with former GP rider, Peter Petrov to take on the EMX250 championship.

The AIT Racing team go into the 2025 season with the following rider line up:

  • Hakon Østerhagen (EMX250)
  • Jake Davies (EMX250)
  • Vencislav Toshev (EMX125)
  • Jayson van Drunen (EMX125) – currently injured
  • Petar Petrov (selected MXGP)

AIT Racing is pleased to announce that they have signed the talented Håkon Østerhagen. The former 125cc World Champion will race for the team in the EMX250 Championship.

Through this collaboration, Østerhagen will return to Fantic, the brand he previously rode for during three years of his career.

Østerhagen suffered an injury last year but has now fully recovered. His preparation is already in full swing, and he will confidently line up at the starting gate for the first race of the EMX250 Championship in Cozar, Spain, on the weekend of March 15th and 16th.
