Official: Glenn Coldenhoff to take on the Brazilian Championship in 2026


Despite finishing third in the 2025 MXGP World Championship, Glenn Coldenhoff has a new chapter for the 2026 season and the main focus will be outside of Europe.

The likeable Dutch rider will be racing for Yamaha to take on the Brazilian Championship in 2026.

I am Glenn Coldenhoff. I grew up in the Netherlands, dreaming of becoming a pro rider. Years of training, victories, injuries, Motocross of Nations, MXGP moments shaped my life.

But passion keeps pushing for more. After so many seasons in Europe, I felt like I was ready for something new. That’s when the bold idea came up, racing in Brazil.

A country with a whole different vibe, where motocross is pure emotion. Where fans go crazy like they are part of the race. I want to feel that up close, learn the culture and share everything I’ve learned.
