The 2025 season will be a fresh start for Federico Tuani as he’ll change teams, brands and classes! The Italian has signed a deal with Italian based team, FM CAMI Racing, which will see him make the move up to the MX1 class.
The move will see Tuani also make the switch to Honda machinery. The main focus will be on the Italian Championship as well as the International Italian series which will be held in February.
Tuani will also contested selected events of the MXGP World Championship. He’ll make his debut for the team this weekend at the final round of the Italian Championship taking place at Arco di Trento.
“This is cool. I got a big big help from them and even if we rode the bike just twice I’m super happy about it. Stepping up was something in my mind already from last season and now it is something we finally made it happen so I’m really happy. New goals, new bike, everything is going to be new for me so really excited to start a new chapter in my career”, Tuani told GateDrop.com.
The team posted the following statement on social media:
Federico Tuani joins the FM CAMI Racing team for the 2025 season.
For him it will be the first year in the MX1 class after some very good seasons in MX2, also achieving some very good world class results!
With the team he will participate in the International Italian Championship, the Italian Pro Prestige championship and the MXGP World Championship events in Europe.
The strong Milanese rider will make his debut riding CRF450 this weekend at MX Trentino. We can’t wait to get started.
