Official: Change of plans for Arvid Lüning – signs with SixtySeven Husqvarna


Back in December, it was announced that young Swede, Arvid Lüning would be making the move up to contest the MXGP World Championship for the 2025 season. Initially he had agreed a deal with the MX-Handel Husqvarna team.

However, a week out from his first MXGP World Championship round of the season and his plans are changed. It has now been confirmed that Lüning has agreed a deal with the SixtySeven Husqvarna team.

Lüning will join Mark Scheu under the awning with the Swede contesting the European rounds of the MXGP World Championship as well as the Swedish Championship.

“It’s been a pretty crazy off-season and now joining my new team SixtySeven like one week before the season. They have been so good and getting everything ready for the season to start and I’m very thankful for them to being open for this and welcoming me to the team. It’s not been exactly the preparation I had planned but I’m excited to be back behind the gate and start the work”, Lüning told GateDrop.com.
