Official: Antonio Cairoli to race three AMA Pro Motocross rounds in July


Nine-time world champion Antonio Cairoli may now be 40 years old, but the Italian legend continues to prove that his passion for racing remains as strong as ever.

Cairoli has confirmed that he will head stateside in July to contest three rounds of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, giving American fans another opportunity to see one of the sport’s all-time greats line up behind the gate.

The Italian icon will make his first appearance at RedBud on 4th July before also competing at Southwick a week later and then wrapping up his summer stint at Spring Creek on 18th July.

Despite stepping away from full-time competition several years ago, Cairoli still enjoys racing whenever his schedule allows and has continued to show impressive speed in selected appearances. His return to the AMA Pro Motocross paddock is sure to attract plenty of attention, with fans eager to watch the former MXGP superstar in action once again.
