MXGP & MX2: 2025 teams and riders

It won’t be that long until the pre season races get underway before the MXGP and MX2 World Championships start in Argentina on the 1st and 2nd of March.

Ahead of the season, we’ve put together a list of riders and teams that’ll be contesting the World Championships in 2025.

Some nice additions to point out in MXGP are that Ducati are in for the MXGP World Championship with Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini who are the first riders to contest the full series with the new brand. In 2025, they should also have an MX2 GP rider line up as well which is good news for the sport.

The De Carli team have also made the switch from GasGas to KTM so there will be a lot more orange in the paddock with Lucas Coenen making the jump up to MXGP despite recently turning 18 years old!

In MX2, Factory KRT have decided to have a full supported rider in the form of Mathis Valin while HRC Honda will also have two MX2 GP riders with Valerio Lata joining Ferruccio Zanchi under the awning.

Van Venrooy KTM are also back in the paddock with Cas Valk who is stepping up to the MX2 World Championship. Triumph Racing have also signed up Guillem Farres who will be back in Europe after his American adventure.

There are still some riders to be confirmed but we’ll continue to keep it updated moving forward.
