After the first day of action was cancelled, the track crew have done a brilliant job getting Talavera in race shape but the circuit is rough due to the conditions.

In the first moto, Guillem Farres was looking superb at the front on his Triumph debut and looked like he had the win the bag. Oriol Oliver did start to close with a few laps to go but then Farres crashed on the final lap to gift the win to Oliver. Farres picked it up just ahead of his team mate, Camden McLellan.

Samuel Nilsson finished fourth – three Triumph machines in the top five!

In the second race, it was rookie, Salvador Perez with the holeshot! It didn’t take Farres long to get to the front but Oliver was hot on his heels in what turned out to be a great battle.

Oliver was able to make a pass on Farres and started to pull away but towards the end Farres caught him again but just couldn’t make a move stick. Both look in good form already but it was Oliver who took the win.

McLellan had a terrible start – he was pretty much last going into the first corner but he recovered to fifth. Nilsson rode well to finish third on his Triumph.
