Race One: It was Pauls Jonass who held the early lead over Glenn Coldenhoff but it was Romain Febvre who was the man on the move and he was able to pass both to win the first moto. Jonass made a couple of mistakes and went back to fourth with Geerts a solid third. On the final lap, Valentin Guillod who was outside the top ten on the first lap passed Roan van de Moosdijk to round out the top five.
Race Two: Febvre led all the way in race two but had pressure from behind in the form of Coldenhoff. It went down to the last lap but the Frenchman took the race win – less than half a second in it! Jonass had issues on lap one so had to come back from the very back of the pack – the Latvian rode fantastic and passed Geerts on the final lap to finish third. Guillod again came home in fifth with Sterry riding well for sixth.
