Micha Boy de Waal signs with Pol Motors MX team

Micha Boy de Waal and the Pol Motors MX team have signed an agreement for the 2022 season.

De Waal will compete for the team in the Open Dutch 500cc Championship, Dutch Masters of Motocross and will also compete in selected events of the ADAC MX Masters Series and MXGP World Championship.

De Waal managed to win the EMX Open class in Oss this year and also took to the the podium in Latvia. He struggled for a long time to finish in the top three of this championship, but as the last two races were held in Turkey, it was decided not to go here due to the high costs, which resulted in him finishing fourth in the championship. De Waal is a great asset to the Pol Motors MX team, which will enable it to achieve its goals both in the Netherlands and internationally.

Ties Pol, owner of the Pol Motors MX team: ”Micha is a real asset to our team. I’ve been following him for years and really enjoy his willpower. I am therefore happy that he will be riding for us in 2022. We will do everything we can to ensure that he can score in the Dutch Masters of Motocross, the Dutch Open Championship and the competitions outside it.”

The main goal remains the competitions in the Netherlands, but when the calendar allows it, we go abroad so that we can continue to participate internationally. With the Pol Motors MX team I am now taking a new path in which I have a lot of confidence.”

Micha and the Pol Motors MX team will use the winter months to prepare for the season that will start on March 13 with the first race of the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Arnhem!
