Cameron McAdoo has admitted in the press conference that he has torn his ACL but will try and race this weekend anyway at the opening round of the East Coast 250 series in Tampa, Florida.
It means more injury woes for Mitch Payton as McAdoo said: “Unfortunately I had something happen completely out of my personal control and it resulted in a crash and I did end up fully tearing my ACL. With that being said, I am super grateful to be here with you guys and God-willing my leg will be strong enough to do this tomorrow. I felt that the team has worked way too hard, I have worked way too hard this off-season for this to be the way our 2025 racing portion ends. I owe it to myself and the team to give it everything we have.
“As of right now, the goal is to get through supercross that means are going to take it race by race. We all know if anyone can make something out this it will be me, so see you guys tomorrow night under the lights.”
