Matt Moss parts ways with MDK Motorsports ahead of WSX season

It’s not long until the World Supercross series starts in Birmingham at Villa Park on the 1st of July. Aussie rider, Matt Moss who raced the 2022 series with BUD Racing had inked a deal with the MDK Motorsports team for 2023 but has revealed he has decided to part ways with the team.

The reason from Moss’ side is that he wants to race a Yamaha at WSX so he doesn’t have to switch from brand to brand. It’s not yet official but Moss is likely to head to the ClubMX Yamaha team for the WSX series.

“I’d like to thank MDK Motorsports, Mark Kvamme and Steve Aldaco for the WSX opportunity they presented to me, I have made a decision to part ways with the team to concentrate on a solid WSX and Australian Supercross campaign on the same manufacturer to ensure I am in the best position to put my best results in as I have had some tough times the past two years switching back and forth between manufacturers I wish MDK all the best in WSX and looking forward to working towards a solid WSX and Australian SX program, see you in Birmingham”, Moss revealed on social media.Â
