Luke Burton starts up his own race team

Luke Burton has plenty of experience when it comes to race in the UK whether it be Motocross or Arenacross.

For the 2024 season, Burton has decided to give back to the sport and start up his own Motocross race team.

He’ll have two riders under the awning in the form of Kian Bown (MX1) and James Bemrose (MX2). Both riders will race the AMCA series as well as selected other events in the UK.

The team will be known as the Luke Burton Coaching Academy team.

Burton posted the following statement:

“ANNOUNCEMENT: I’ve started my own coaching academy team and I’m delighted to bring on board my MX1 rider Kian Bown and my MX2 rider James Bemrose. These boys have worked so hard with me over the past year and showed a lot of promise and determination”.

“It’s got me motivated to give these lads something back. I’d also like to thank some of my sponsors that have come on board and sponsored my riders, without you guys, this would not of been as easy. All I ask the lads is that they keep putting the work in and have fun. I’m not one to fuss about results as long as their head and heart is in the right place that’s enough for me so here’s to a new season”.Â
