Lake Elsinore motocross park forced to close!

Long-time motocross facility Lake Elsinore in Southern California has been forced to close due to a lawsuit, following a tragic accident in June.

One of the most popular places to ride in Socal, the area had a vet track, regular track, supercross track and, recently, even flat track. This is a big blow for the industry as another popular riding area is shut down.

The closure of Elsinore has also taken Jeremy McGrath by surprise with the forced cancellation of the Elsinore GP he was involved with:

The king of supercrosss said: “I just received this! We are extremely disappointed that the 2024 Elsinore GP will be canceled. The Land owners cannot come to terms with management. We were blindsided by this information, we just received this notification days ago. We did absolutely everything in our power to make arrangements and proceed with the event. We cannot put our riders in a bad situation or have families traveling to an event that’s not 100% to our standards. The city of Lake Elsinore has nothing to do with this situation, it is strictly the land owners. We will start issuing refunds immediately to those that pre registered. We apologize, but there was nothing we could do to save the Elsinore GP.”
