Ken Roczen injury update
Ken Roczen has provided a positive update on his foot injury saying that it is not broken despite getting it caught in Coty Schock’s rear wheel.
However the German is still frustrated that the incident cost him second place in points!
Roczen said: “The season is done! What a tough break. My foot got stuck in a wheel on the start in the second moto.
“I instantly though my foot was broken. My boot buckle got pushed through the boot and into my foot and that was the end of that. It’s not broken luckily. With 2x 0 points this year (Millville moto 1, Hangtown moto 2) i lost 2nd place in the championship 😩
“I’m keeping my head high though. Being in the title hunt in SX and MX is still special to me so overall i feel like i had a pretty good season and made a step forward from the past years.
“Big thank you and congrats to my team @honda_racing_us for giving me the support and also for winning the 250 outdoor championship with @jettson18
“@jordantroxell thank you for doing what you do and always having my back ! 🙏🏼🤘🏽
“Time to get some rest and relax before we prepare for 2022. Thank you to all the fans this year it was an awesome feeling to have you guys back. ❤️”
