Jorge Prado got a bit of criticsm at Millville for only getting back to 13th after being punted off the track at turn one in moto one at Millville while Deegan, who went down, came back to fourth and passed Prado.
But as it turned out, Prado was fighting his own physical battle as well as the on track battles with the Spaniard coming off his sick bed to race Millville and doing as best he could with less energy than normal.
Jorge told Lewis Phillips: “Last week was was a tough week. I flew back to after after Southwick, flew back to Florida and then I. I couldn’t ride, I couldn’t train, I had fever, I had sore throat. I couldn’t do anything for the whole week and then went straight to Millville. So it was a pity because we should have do even some testing there and get a little bit more comfortable with the setup. But I just, yeah, I was all day in bed. So it was a pity. And I’m still now, I think I’m now almost back, but still not 100 percent.”
Fortunately it isn’t to be as hot and the Washougal track shouldn’t be as rough for the conditions will favour the Spaniard this week more that last weekend – can he get back on the podium?
