Confident but respectful, MXGP world champ, Jorge Prado, says he can challenge at the front of the AMA pack outdoors in 2025 and he wants to challenge Jett Lawrence.
Jorge told Jase at Gypsy Tales: “If I feel good on the Kawi outdoors and i can ride like this year (in MXGP), I should be able to win.”
But he was also quick to praise Jett Lawrence: “Jett is a great rider, he rides the bike really good, I feel fitness-wise he is also really strong. Right now he is the best here in the US, the best rider.
“I will try and beat the best rider, right? What do I think? I think I can, so now let’s see if I can do it or not! I feel I can do it, if someone can do it , it’s me. I have the good starts, good fitness, I can ride the bike fast too. I am curious to see, probably these tracks suit me better than MXGP, we will see. I feel like I am on a very good bike and hopefully I have a good feeling riding outdoors with it, so I don’t know.”
