Joey Savatgy had a mammoth crash at Indy while inside the top ten and battling Ken Roczen, with the Honda man unfortunately endoing over the bars in a big rhythm section and ending his night in pain.
Savatgy eventually walked off with help from the medics but he was not okay with the Honda rider giving an injury update today, saying: “Had a good night going and felt like I hit the same line as the laps prior. But clearly I made a mistake or something. Punctured lung and some broken ribs.”
