Jeremy Seewer on his switch to Van Venrooy KTM

After his split with Ducati, Jeremy Seewer is, thankfully, back in the MXGP paddock for Foxhill and the Swiss rider explained that he was motivated to get back to the races even if he enjoyed the break for a couple of weeks!

Jeremy, who is now racing for Van Venrooy KTM, told Lisa Leyland:”I went home and I took some days off. Just finally, I could catch a breathe, you know, and recharge my batteries. And, yeah, especially other mentally after all that time, I needed a break.

“But I was also straight up motivated to find, yeah, something new to come back. And, yeah, find the fun again, let’s say, on the dirt bike, you know. And, yeah, I wouldn’t guess back then I end up here, but I did and I’m happy about it.

And I’m in a way better place since. And now I’m on my way back, you know. We all know the old Jeremy Seewer; winning races, fighting for podiums. And that’s the one, yeah, he should be back step by step now.

“I feel a lot better. I enjoy riding. I enjoy coming here. I enjoy everyday training. Yeah, I have fun. My speed is already way better now. Like we say, I just need a bit of time to grow because, yeah, before all of that, it took me also a long time to come where I was. And now it’s not just on again, but I’m on a good way.”
