Andrea Adamo took the win at his home GP in Italy in a memorable day for the former world champion, but he was still frustrated by the backmarkers that he feels cost him the second moto win.
“I came into traffic in the last lap and Thibault closed in the the gap I had all moto, said Adamo. “He found a way to pass me. It’s a bummer, with lappers it’s not so easy, the important thing is we won the GP.
“There is enough blue flags but the thing is there is no rule, there should be a rule I think. There is a lot of respect between the top riders but with the lappers it’s not easy. They don’t move and don’t make your life easy. Not everybody but some don’t make your life so easy. I think there should be a rule to make everything more clear.”
