Illness has put an end to Tommy Searle’s first MX National round at FatCat with the defending champion only managing a lap in qualifying and 12th in the first moto.
Searle said: “No bueno today I managed a lap in Qualifying that was fast enough for pole but 12th in the first race of @mxnationalsuk and decided not to race the second race and tomorrows raceâs. I just feel horrendous with some sort of illness and don’t want to make matters worse or risk making a mistake a ruining rest of the season wobbling about like a was. A couple days to recover and Iâll be sound! Sorry to the @hondaracingmx boyâs and the teamâs sponsors.”
