Hunter Lawrence injured wrists update and a tough day in the mud!

Hunter Lawrence gave an informative  interview with Lewis Phillips revealing that he has now hurt both wrists, with his crash in Ironman with Haiden Deegan injuring his good wrist.

To make things worse Hunter struggled in the mud, even getting lapped and dealing with multiple crashes and he told Jason Thomas after the race: “I was alright (wrist). What a day in the office, it sucked, I sucked. We just have to figure out what this big girl likes in the mud. Anytime we get on wet conditions, it’s whole other ball game. I feel like I am racing a completely different track to some of the other guys. Go back, get a week of training in, that will be good and come back bouncing in LA.”

It now means the wrist he originally hurt in Detroit (right wrist) is now his least problematic wrist compared to his new left wrist injury from Ironman!

Hunter told Lewis: “Well, my right wrist has been the one that’s been bothering me all through Supercross, after Supercross, and then all outdoor. The left wrist was my good one, but that’s the one I hurt at Ironman. Oh. I think everyone’s got that right. My right wrist is now actually my good wrist because it’s less bad than the other one, so we dubbed that the good one.”

And added: “My left wrist, yeah, we got X-rays, MRIs, and stuff on it the Monday after Ironman because it was… I mean, my hand was the size of a baseball bat, and my wrist was the same size as my forearm, and I was like, yeah, it’s not the same as the Detroit wrist. This is a little worse.”
