Colt Nichols was in the wrong place at the wrong time when Dean Wilson’s wayward bike took Nichols out mid-air and he went down hard. Nichols was taken to hospital and we await further updates – a brutal spory especially when he hadn’t even done anything wrong.

*Update: Colt has now provided a positive update on social media saying: “Nichols said: “Well the Perth trip didn’t end too well 🥴 struggled Saturday night for sure but felt better Sunday and had a racing incident happen main 1. Feeling beat up today but nothing crazy so rest up and see what the next few days brings us.
