Glenn Coldenhoff injured and to sit out race day at Ernee MXoN

Glenn Coldenhoff took a nasty crash during the open qualifying race trying to pass Isak Gifting. It turns out the Dutch rider has broken his rib and suffered from concussion. It means Coldenhoff will be out of action on race day leaving De Wolf and Vlaanderen as the only riders for the Dutch.

Similar happened the Dutch at RedBud in 2018 when Vlaanderen had to sit out race day – they still went second overall that day with Herlings and Coldenhoff but it’ll be a lot tougher tomorrow.

“Glenn Coldenhoff will no longer be in action during the MX of Nations in Ernee this weekend. Coldenhoff came in contact with Isak Gifting during the qualifying heat and fell hard. When he fell, he suffered a concussion and a broken rib. Due to Glenn’s dropping out, only Kay de Wolf and Calvin Vlaanderen will be up and running tomorrow”, the KNMV revealed on social media.
