Romain Febvre set the pace in MXGP but there was very little in it between him and Tim Gajser at the top of the timesheets.
Isak Gifting put in a fast lap for third fastest with Glenn Coldenhoff fourth and Calvin Vlaanderen who has great memoires from Riola fifth fastest.
Adam Sterry put in an impressive lap for ninth fastest. Jeffrey Herlings was eighteenth quickest in his first session of the season.
In MX2, Sacha Coenen put in a very impressive lap to set the pace. Kay de Wolf was second fastest with Rick Elzinga third – he’ll be happy with that.
Liam Everts put in the fourth best time with Simon Langenfelder rounding out the top five. Guillem Farres is in Sardinia and his bike did go through technical control yesterday but he didn’t go out in free practice. We believe the doctor didn’t approve but we wait for something more official.
