Speaking on his rider’s meeting podcast, David Pingree says he has heard from Jason Lawrence that Eli Tomac wants to race again in 2025 saying:
“Jason Lawrence had mentioned that Eli wants, he has heard this from a reliable source, Eli wants to race next year. Star does not have the budget to keep him, they didn’t plan on that, so it doesn’t sound like there’s a real good offer for him to stay there, so he’s looking and so I think he’s actively hunting for something.”
Jason Lawrence said on Instagram he thinks “Eli is going back to kawi for 2025. Maybe even for 2024 SMX and select MXGP’s. No AMA Outdoors.”
Meanwhile, Steve Matthes heard Tomac is racing outdoors this year then looking for something next year. With AMA outdoors only four weeks aways, let’s see what unfolds, but if Eli Tomac is racing in 2025 and maybe even doing the odd GP, then it’s a win/win for the fans
