Eli Tomac on team decisions for 2026 and Pro Motocross expectations in 2025

Eli Tomac says he has no excuses heading into the Pro Motocross season after his injury and, after rumours he is testing a Ducati and maybe a KTM, the US legend re-confirmed that he will be racing next season and currently looking at his options for 2026.

Tomac said of his readiness for the upcoming outdoor season: “I think it’s good but we will find out tomorrow that’s for sure! It’s good enough I was almost considering supercross but then I thought, it’s better to stick to motocross so it’s been good, I am ready. With there only being a weekend off between supercross and motocross it has always been a crunch but for just pure motocross, I have never had this much time so no excuses.”

On his future Tomac confirmed his will to continue racing and is looking around: “Most of the time I like being a man of my word but I haven’t been that for deciding when the end is for racing dirt bikes! I am going to continue racing, we are currently trying to work out deals right now. I said I was done and I have had these weird little injuries in supercross and, honestly, it has extended my career and ambition for racing. I have stayed competitive, I have been able to come back and be competitive, and that’s what I told myself, if I can get on the podium, potentially winning races, I haven’t fulfilled my want to stop. I enjoy it too much, that’s why I am still going.”
