Eli Tomac was very frustrated with his mistake that saw him crash out of the lead and then get run over by Chase Sexton – but he was happy with his pace that saw him get back to fifth and limit the damage.
Tomac, who escaped injury despite getting run over, said: “Just tucked my front end good old Anaheim, get’s slick in the evening and just didn’t respect it. had a good comeback getting that, fifth excited the way i rode the rest of the main. I was feeling just like I shouls and what I know I can do the whole day there, great qualifying and a good quarter lap – we are going to come back!
