Monster Energy Kawasaki have confirmed that their talented young rookie, Drew Adams, will miss this weekend’s National at Southwick after sustaining a hand injury at High Point.
Adams was quoted as saying: “In Moto 2, I had a decent start and was moving forward until I had a little tip-over. I got back up and made up a few positions, then ended up having another tip-over and suffered a small break in my index finger on my left hand.”
Adams had shown good speed outdoors but it means more time off for Adams who also missed time during supercross with a broken collarbone.
