Deegan on changing bike settings for Budds Creek after Unadilla

A very honest Haiden Deegan refused to blame the team and took accountability himself on settings he used at Unadilla, settings he is moving on from at Budds Creek!

Haiden told Lewis Phillips:”My feedback may not be good sometimes. And the guys set the bike up a little wrong, just off my feedback. So I can’t blame them. I got to blame myself too. I don’t want to be like a guy that are a racer that just blames their bike and team. I feel like that’s BS.”

And Deegan says he isn’t content with top three and wants to win so is taking more swings at his bike setup this weekend: “I used the week and we’ve kind of been swinging at things. It’s because, I mean, podiums are cool, but I really want to win. So I’m really kind of swinging at everything I can, you know, the team’s really willing to try as much as I want.”

So some stuff’s going to be bad, some stuff’s going to be good. That’s the whole part of it. That’s where you got a rookie season for it to go out there and learn the bike, learn yourself. And feel like we made some good gains this week with the bike and just, I mean, suspension, everything, the whole bike, I’m going through it. I’m trying everything I can.”
