Haiden Deegan is back at the races this weekend and back on a 250 for the penultimate race in his little bike career but everyone is thinking about Deegan’s 450 Motocross debut at Pala against Jett Lawrence in one month’s time.
Lewis Phillips asked Deegan how the testing was going ahead of one of the most anticipated races in recent memory.
Deegan told Lewis: “I’ve made big strides on the bike, just trying everything. It’s a new bike, it’s a new chapter, new goals. So just really grinding on that thing, trying to get it dialed in.
“When you do a lot of testing, I mean, it definitely, it gets hard, but when in my head, it’s like, you want to be the best, you want to be the best, you want to be the best every morning, you got to have dog days from morning to night, and that’s just what it takes. And I understand that. And if I want to be the best, I have to do it.”
