The BUD Kawasaki team have signed up Jake Cannon to contest the EMX250 championship in 2025 but before the Motocross season gets underway, Cannon will race some Supercross with the team.
The hot prospect from Australia will get his first AMA Supercross experience as it has been confirmed he’ll race SMX Futures class in Glendale. A perfect opportunity for him to get some SX experience under the lights.
After the American trip, Cannon will head to France to then start preparing for the EMX250 championship – after Mathis Valin won the series last year, Cannon has big boots to fill.
The BUD Kawasaki racing team confirmed the news on social media:
Excited to announce that Jake Cannon is going to ride the SMX Future in Glendale supercross in two weeks.
A few more weeks to go here in California to train on the VENUM Kawasaki Bud Racing bike to get ready for the race.
