After a period of transition for Irish Motocross, the Irish Motocross Championship will return in 2026 as the sport’s premier national series. In a major statement of intent, the Motocross Commission has confirmed a six-round championship and secured Plews Tyres as title sponsor, marking a significant
new chapter for motocross in Ireland.
The 2026 Plews Tyres IMX Irish Motocross Championship will see riders compete across six of the country’s most demanding and established venues, restoring a consistent, high-profile platform for elite competition. The partnership with Plews Tyres represents a substantial investment in Irish motocross, underlining a shared commitment to raising standards, supporting riders, and strengthening the long-term future of the sport.

With a title sponsor now confirmed, the Irish Motocross Championship also welcomes interest from businesses and trade partners who may wish to become involved in the series.
