Following the mandatory medical check, Alberto Forato was cleared to race this weekend at the MXGP of Türkiye. The Fantic Factory Racing MXGP rider was able to resume training last week and, despite having had limited time to regain full fitness following his scapula surgery in July, he and the team have decided to travel to Afyon, where he will line up alongside Jörgen-Matthias Talviku.
Alberto Forato:
“I am so happy to be here! I only got the green light from my doctor in Belgium last week, and I jumped straight back on the bike. Since then, I have given my all to be here. I am of course not yet at 100%, but my shoulder doesn’t bother me, and I am excited to give it a go. I wanted to be here and race, so let’s enjoy it and try to do the best we can.”
