Cole McCullough has showed a lot of pace this year racing the EMX125 series even if the results don’t match the speed.
The rider from Northern Ireland is very strong in the sand and will head to Lommel this weekend to race the EMX250 championship.
It won’t be his debut in the class after he contested Arnhem last year and he was able to score points finishing 17-17 in the moto’s.
A year later, McCullough is an even faster rider and will excel in the deep sand so it’ll be good to see how he gets on in the EMX250 series which he will step up and race in the future. This weekend McCullough will race a 250cc two-stroke Fantic machine.
“I am looking forward to jumping up on to the 250cc 2-smoker and racing EMX at Lommel this weekend, I have a few weeks break before the next 125cc round in Sweden so it was a no brainer really”.
“I spent the winter training on the bigger bike and really enjoyed it. Jason (Meara) is riding the Open class at the event so I look forward to spending the week leading up to the race training with him in Holland”, McCullough told GateDrop.com.
