Cole Davies had just set the fastest lap in timed practice and was in the middle of another fast lap when he made a mistake and aborted the lap, but Jordon Smith was still going for it and landed right onto Davies who was rolling a rhythm section.
The incident brought a red flag and Haiden Deegan even got someone to hold his bike so he could go and check on his teammate, such was the concern for Davies straight after the crash.
Race Day Live gave an update saying Davies was taken to hospital with an arm injury, it could have been a lot worse.
Scary moment for Davies and Smith during 250 West Q1.

Jordon Smith said he will be game-time decision on racing and gave his explaination on how the crash happened: “I’m relatively ok thankfully. I hope Cole is ok, that was just a terrible situation. We were both on fast laps and I was already committed to the quad by the time he started rolling. I’m resting up and will be a game time decision for tonight.”
