Arm pump hinders Herlings on day one in Switzerland

Jeffrey Herlings qualified in fourth, started in third and got into second but ultimately ended up seventh in the qualifying race in Switzerland after losing two spots in the last two laps, including waving Romain Febvre by such was the severity of arm pump for Herlings!

Herlings said: “P7 today in Quali. Arm’s were more hard after lap 2 then a 🪵. Shame I went from P4 to P7 in the last 2 laps, just couldn’t hold on so much arm pump. Let’s try again on Monday. 🐣”

Still, P7 with arm pump isn’t bad and Herlings knows the speed is still there when free from the lactic acid even if the doubters refuse to believe it. So, Herlings is actually riding today in a bid to get rid of Mr Arm Pump and be able to ride free tomorrow in Switzerland as he continues his comeback and progression back to his real form after ACL surgery. Determination!
