There was laughter from Jett Lawrence as Aaron Plessinger all but confirmed Eli Tomac looks set to be on a KTM next year, which means Chase Sexton is all but confirmed to be leaving KTM, with everybody expecting him to be on Kawasaki 2026
In somewhat of a crafty “hypothetical” question, Plessinger was asked what it would be like to be teammates with Eli Toamc and if they get on… this prompted a smirk and laughter from Jett Lawrence but a stony-eyed stare from Eli Tomac and Aaron Plessinger tried to navigate the question without giving the game away!
Ap was asked: AP, theoretically, Tomac may be going to KTM. Is that going to be…do you guys get along? Are you happy to potentially have him as a teammate? Hypothetically speaking, of course….
Plessinger replied with a smile as Jett giggled: “Yeah, dude. You kidding me? I think, well, IF that happens, I will have been teammates with Chase, Coop, Ryan Dungey, Tony Cairoli, and now Eli… and Marvin. Like, if that’s not a solid lineup for teammates in a career, I don’t know what is!
“So yeah, I mean, I’m stoked. IF that happens, you know, I think we can, you know, learn a little bit. I can definitely learn from that guy. And yeah, man, I think it would be really cool.“
