A1M Husqvarna – no MXGP team in 2021

After Tanel Leok announced his professional retirement from the sport, there was a doubt concerning his A1M Husqvarna team and whether it would remain in the paddock for the 2021 season.

The Estonian has now confirmed that the team won’t be in GP paddock for the season ahead – it’s a shame to lose the team. Leok does plan on keeping the team though but he’ll mainly be focusing on the Estonian and Latvian championships.

Leok also plans to race the MXGP of Latvia in 2021 in what’s expected to be his last ever Grand Prix event.

Looking ahead to the future, Leok is going to focus on his two kids, Travis and Sebastian – with the right guidance it might not be too long until we see them race the European Championships and perhaps we’ll see the A1M Husqvarna team back in the paddock.
