Dylan Ferrandis urges international riders to go and race in the USA

After announcing his retirement, former Grand Prix winner, MXoN winner, 2x 250 Supercross champ and 250 and 450 US National champion, Dylan Ferrandis, urged MXGP riders and riders around the world to get themselves to America because it is the place to be!

Ferrandis said when asked what he would tell the next generation of International riders: “I would recommend to take the gamble, it is 100% worth it. The sport is here in the US. I have been racing around the world my whole life and the sport is here. It is so big, it is so huge and we have the best riders, the best teams, the best mechanics. Take the gamble and try and if you fail, whatever, you go home and you won’t regret it because the sport is in the US, it’s really the best place to race a dirt bike.

On his championships, Dylan said: “Every championship I am super proud. When the first one happened in Vegas, it was crazy. Then the 450 one, when you win a 450 title in the US you beat all the best so that was maybe the proudest one.”

What will he miss about being a professional rider? “I’m going to miss the feeling of being a professional rider and having a factory bike. Coming to the morning to the track and the bike is all brand new. You just have to sit on the bike and go ride and enjoy the riding, the feeling of Supercross, that’s what I’m going to miss.”
