At EICMA 2026, VENT unveils the production-ready versions of its RV 65, RV 65 H and RV 85 junior motocross bikes, first presented as prototypes just one year ago. Twelve months of development and testing with riders competing in junior championships have resulted in models that are now very close to their final production specifications.
VENT Racing was born from the passion for competition that has always been part of the brand’s DNA, with the ambition of bringing Italian motorcycles back to the forefront of junior motocross racing. Experience gained on the track has played a crucial role throughout the development process, with feedback from riders contributing directly to the evolution of each model.
TRACK-TESTED BY AN ITALIAN CHAMPION
Throughout the season, the RV 85 has been tested and developed in collaboration with Pietro Riganti, Manetta Team rider and Italian Junior Motocross Champion in the 85cc class. Testing sessions and races have provided valuable data and feedback on engine performance, chassis behaviour and ergonomics, all of which have been incorporated directly into the production models.
AN AGGRESSIVE NEW LOOK IN VENT RED
The styling has also evolved. Bold graphics and aggressive lines give the new junior motocross bikes a distinctive appearance, finished in VENT’s signature red – the colour that has always defined the Lombardy-based manufacturer’s racing motorcycles and now returns to the spotlight in junior competition.
INTRODUCING THE RV 65 H: THE RIGHT BIKE FOR EVERY RIDER
Track testing has highlighted an often-overlooked aspect of the 65cc class: riders aged between 8 and 12 can vary considerably in height. To address this, VENT has developed the new RV 65 H alongside the standard RV 65, specifically designed for taller riders, ensuring that even larger young riders can find a motorcycle suited to their first steps in motocross.
To put its proportions into perspective, the RV 65 H has a seat height of 823 mm, allowing taller young riders to enjoy a riding position better suited to their build. This brings it closer to the larger RV 85, which has a seat height of 892 mm. VENT therefore expands the options available in the 65cc class, offering motorcycles better suited to the different physical characteristics of young riders.
ENGINES DEVELOPED IN INTROBIO
At the heart of the project are two new-generation engines, designed and developed by VENT’s technical department: the 65cc M3R and the 85cc M2R.
Key technical features include:
- Programmable electronic control unit (ECU), allowing engine power delivery to be adapted to different racing conditions;
- Electric start, an exclusive VENT feature in the junior motocross segment;
- Electronically controlled exhaust power valve, optimising power delivery at medium and high engine speeds;
- Modular cylinder head, allowing the compression ratio and engine power delivery to be optimised;
- Hydraulic clutch, providing consistent and progressive control;
- 30 mm carburettor on the 85cc version, ensuring strong throttle response in all riding conditions.
A CHASSIS DESIGNED TO HELP YOUNG RIDERS PROGRESS
The aluminium perimeter frame combines rigidity, low weight and stability, even on the most demanding sections of the track.
The fully adjustable, long-travel suspension features a linkage-operated rear shock absorber. The RV 85 offers 278 mm of front suspension travel and 289 mm at the rear, while the RV 65 provides 215 mm at the front and 253.5 mm at the rear.
The hydraulic braking system, equipped with wave-pattern brake discs, ensures effective stopping power even under the most demanding conditions.
On the RV 65, adjustable suspension height and handlebar positioning allow young riders to tailor the motorcycle to their individual dimensions.
A SPARE PARTS KIT DESIGNED FOR RACING
Another key strength of the VENT Race range is the comprehensive spare parts kit supplied with each motorcycle, specifically designed to meet the demands of training sessions and competitive racing. The kit includes a rear sprocket, an air filter, a complete piston assembly, a needle roller bearing, a clutch pack, a spark plug, a swingarm side protection and a gasket set. This selection of spare parts ensures that riders, families and racing teams have essential components readily available for maintenance and servicing throughout the racing season.
Pricing and availability will be announced at the official commercial launch.
