Confirmed: Ducati to enter the Swedish Championship in 2027


Ducati will enter another national championship for the 2027 season as they’ll contest the Swedish Championship next year. The Ronnangsgard Racing team who previously ran Yamaha machinery have made the decision to switch brands for the upcoming season and will run Ducati. 

The team confirmed the news in the press release below: 

Ronnangsgard Racing #78 is very happy to announce that we have signed a long-term agreement with Ducati Sweden and CEC motorcycles to run their MX team.

The team, ”DUCATI Ronnangsgard Racing MX Team”, will race MXW, MX2 and MX1 in the Swedish Championship as well as some future international races. Starting in 2027, the organization will already start building up this season to be fully ready for the gate drop of the first round of the Swedish Championship.

The confirmed riders for the 2027 season are:

MX1: Algot Johansson
MX2: Erik Frisagård
MXW: Tuva Nelson
