Seth Hammaker has had a brilliant start to the Outdoor season with two moto wins and the red plate but the amiable American has admitted he has been re-learning how to ride the bike in certain areas with his time spent at the Lawrence compound.
We asked Seth what an elite rider of his level would still be able to learn, and he told us: “Just the discipline, you know, technique and hard work and every little thing matters. It’s not just what we do at the track or when you show up, you’ve got to be most prepared and put things to use that they’re telling you and that mindset, that’s technique, doing stuff away from the track as well, not just on the bike or in the gym like eating and everything.
“It’s a combination of a little bit of everything but yeah, very grateful to be surrounded by them and to me there’s no better people to to be in a group like that. So, yeah, hopefully I can continue to stay there and continue to work on my craft but if I can follow after those two and that’s my goal.”
