Eli Tomac had to go ro the LCQ after his attempted pass on Justin Cooper left the Yamaha riders leg stuck in Tomac’s back wheel! Tomac’s plastic cover on the airbox came loose in the incident forcing the KTM rider to the LCQ!
Tomac went on to win the LCQ conceding the move was maybe too aggressive. Eli somehow got a good start in the main event to finish third in Birmingham but title rival, Hunter Lawrence, put another five points on Tomac with the win. Eli is now 9 back.
