Triumph Factory Racing is excited for round seven of the 2026 AMA Supercross campaign as Jordon Smith returns from injury to make his 450SX debut. Also competing in Arlington, Texas, is Jalek Swoll, who lines up for the opening race of the 250SX East calendar.
Now fully recovered from his off-season shoulder surgery, Smith has been busy logging plenty of laps at Triumph’s training facility in Georgia. Feeling at one with his TF 450-X machine, the multi-time 250SX Main Event winner is looking forward to racing in the premier division for the first time in his career.
Returning for his third year with the team, Swoll is understandably excited for the opening round of 250SX East. Despite missing much of the 2025 season through injury, the likeable Floridian has shown flashes of brilliance throughout his time with Triumph Factory Racing and enters the new campaign focused on success.
Jordon Smith
“It feels great to finally be making my 450 debut. It’s been a long time coming and something I’ve worked towards my entire career. I’m really grateful to the team for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. Recovery has gone really well and I’ve been able to get back on the bike ahead of schedule, which has been a big confidence boost. The goal right now is to learn, be smart, and put myself in the battle as I adapt to the 450 class, the longer mains, and the new bike. The TF 450-X has been awesome from day one. It suits my riding style, and the extra power has definitely helped. It’s a stacked class, but I’m excited to build throughout the season and see where we end up.”
Jalek Swoll
“I feel like I’m getting closer to where I left off last year as I head to Arlington, and I’ve been building momentum every day. Even though we haven’t had a huge amount of time, we’ve made some important changes, and the team has done a great job getting the bike to a really good place for me. The east coast is stacked this year and there are a lot of fast guys, so it’s going to be competitive, but I’m excited to get back out there and mix it up. The goal is to be consistently fighting for podiums and to get that first win. If I line up with the mindset to win then the results will follow.”
Jeremy Coker – General Manager, Triumph Racing America
“I am beyond excited to see Jordon finally make his premier class debut on the Triumph TF 450-X this weekend in Arlington. After battling back from shoulder surgery, he has had a solid build-up in testing and training and he is looking forward to getting back to the races. Although he looks incredibly strong on the bike and is ready to prove his capabilities, we aim to build week by week as he returns to racing with the 450. It’s also huge to have Jalek Swoll kicking off the 250SX East series, and he’s full of motivation for his season. Both guys have put in the work and look fast leading up to this, and I can’t wait to see them out there for Triumph Factory Racing.”
